Disappointed by our recent rash of protest disappointments, the SCPN HQ core members Infozo, Philosophozo, and zoZozo took a road trip to protest the US SE debut of "The Red Nose Diaries." Sure, we aren't quite sure what it's about, but it sure does sound smutty.

Regardless, like our other recent attempts at hitting the pavement, this one was wearing the big shoes of it-ain't-gonna-happen. After 3 hours on the road, we arrived at the auditorium 10 minutes after the 11-minute short showed. Oh, well. Thanks anyway to MW and the others involved with the festival who took us under their wings and consoled us in our moment of defeat.

Insane Clown Posse will be invading the very heart of the Stop Clown Porn Movement. Although we applaud ICP's efforts at reestablishing the clown as the king of comic violence, their appearances in Penthouse (only one in their plethora of putrid clown porn pictorials) leave no room for moral excuse.

We had thought that our efforts had forced their earlier cancellation at this very venue, but it appears instead that they were merely biding their time, regrouping in preparation for our showdown.

Turns out, though, that we might have been right to begin with. ICP = Ignominous Cancelling Pussies. Chalk one up for the Cause by default!

A handful of clowns and clown well-wishers gathered in the Camp Jordan Arena Parking Lot to celebrate the hard work of Shriner clowns and their complete non-participation in clown pornography, busily involved as they are in the plight of child burn victims. Unfortunately, our ill-informed gang of protesters was not only late, but entirely unaware that the majority of Shriners are in fact policemen inexplicably dressed as clowns. We were quickly ushered from public view with few incidents (the guy in the truck did say something about taking his picture--this one's for you, big guy!).

SCP Brigade's Generalissimozo took to the streets in front of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus to announce his support for the RBBB clowns in the fight against clown pornography.
He was able to join local PETA protesters as they protested against cruelty to animals in the circus.
After he extended his welcome with the PETA group, Generalissimozo (with attendants) continued picketing through downtown Chattanooga, shouting such slogans as "There should be a law!" and "Let my people go!" to the confusion and consternation of several tourist families.
